A comedy about a girl who joins an all girl singing group in her university and competes against the all boys group.
I really liked this film, it's like mean girls meets glee. I am in love with Rebel Wilson I just think she is hilarious and as Fat Amy she was just perfect. There were some really funny, laugh out loud parts to this film. But I could not watch the parts where they throw up (which happened more than I thought) because it made me feel so ill! hahaa I'm rubbish when it comes to things like that! But over all the film was really good.

Moonrise Kingdom

The story of a young boy and girl that run away together because they fell in love and no one else understands them like each other.
Me and my friend watched the trailer for this and she said it looked terrible, I watched it anyway and don't care what she thinks about it, it is one of my all time favourite films. I loved the idea of it (and kind of want it myself). It felt like a great adventure and the way they fell in love through letters they sent to each other before they had even met properly was perfect. This film contains my all time favourite scene though, there is one part of the film when they dance together on the beach and they are completely alone with the record player (and the kitten of course) and they don't care that everyone is searching for them they just love being with each other. I love it.

The Breakfast Club

Five completely different teenagers all end up having a Saturday detention together and end up learning a lot about each other.
I think this has to be one of my favourite films. I really love the 80's films and think they're just the best teen films out there. Nothing much happens in The Breakfast Club which is why I love it so much. It's easy to watch, makes you laugh, has loveable characters and still manages to make me cry even though I've seen it like a billion times. Everything about it is great. Especially Brian. I mean, how could you not love him...

Crazy, Stupid, Love

One of those films with lots of different stories that come together. Including a man getting a divorce who meets a new friend that helps him pick up girls.
I really enjoyed this film, it was funny and romantic and had the greatest cast ever! I loved everyone in the film and thought the ending was really good. It's just an all round feel good film that will definitely make you laugh. It's amazing.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

The story of a high schooler's day off school, his crazy head master and his annoyed sister.
Obviously this film is going to be good because it is an 80's coming of age film. It has to be good. I could watch this film over and over and still laugh and enjoy it! This film is hilarious and has some really loveable characters! It's just an all round great film from the 80's that you need to see.

My one and only

A woman finds her husband cheating on her and so takes her two sons on a road trip in search of a new husband to take care of them.
I love Renee Zellweger and I love Logan Lerman. I thought this film was really different and it was interesting the whole time so I didn't get bored at all. Plus the ending wasn't what I thought it would be at all and films are always better when you don't know what's going to happen. It was a good film and you should definitely watch it.

A man known as "the Date Doctor" is helping his latest client's dream woman notice him, meanwhile he meets a woman that he really likes too.
Honestly now, who doesn't love Will Smith? Seriously any film with him has to be good (and of course he is the most perfect person ever in The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air). This is a really good film that made me laugh and is just a good film to watch at any time. I wanted to be in some parts of the film because some scenes were so perfect!

The Truman Show

A film about a T.V program that is based around the life of a man that doesn't know his whole life has been a T.V program. (sounds a bit complicated when I put it like that...)
Me and my friend used to watch this all the time when it was raining. I think it's one of my favourite films. I love everything about it - especially Jim Carrey. It's such a different film and I've never watched anything like it. When I think about it too much though it really gets to me (I don't know how else to say it? like I can't stop thinking about it?) Imagine if it was you though. You were the star of the Truman show?! It's so good though.

Almost Famous...

A high school boy gets to write about a new coming band for the rolling stones magazine while he is on tour with them.
I thought this film had a great cast and was acted really well. It was a good story and I thought it was easy to watch. It was different and I love films about bands. There were some really good parts to this film and I just loved some of the characters. It was a bit like The Runaways but less about the band, more about the people that follow it. I thought it was really good.

The Virgin Suicides

A film about a group of boys that want to know more about a group of sisters living across the road. The girls all keep to them selves and no one really knows much about them apart from that their sister comitted suicide.
I watched this film because I kept seeing gifs and things about it on Tumblr. Not going to lie, it was weird and different but that was what made it good. The film is good and I just feel so sorry for all of the characters in it, the sisters because of their parents, the parents because they just wanted what was best and the boys because of the sisters! It will definitely make you think.

St. Trinians...

A film abut an all girls boarding school that is not an ordinary school. They're trying to be shut down by the government so they bring together their criminal minds to keep the school going.
I loveeeeee this film. I once watched it about 3 times in two days. All the girls are just so cool and I want to be one of them! I want to go to St. Trinians! Plus, there's a whole make over scene and you know I love make overs and all that... I just think it's an all round great film, but the second one was really disappointing.

The Runaways

A "coming of age" film about the 70's band "The Runaways".
I really liked this film. I loved the cast (even though Kristen Stewart is annoying she was really good in this) and I thought they looked like the actual runaways quite a bit too. It was strange watching Fern from Charlotte's web do drugs though... But I thought the film was great because it told this rebellious story of someone's dream coming true. Plus it was based on the truth. I really loved it.

A story of a man finding out he has cancer and having to deal with the disease.
Even though this film is about something serious they managed to make it funny. I really like this film because it's funny and has a great cast and also made me cry. I loved the cast of the film, mainly because I love Seth Rogen, and they made the film believable. It was a really good film and I really enjoyed it.

Prety Woman

The story of a prostitute who meets a rich man who is willing to pay her $3,000 to stay with him for a week and go with him to social events.
I really like this film because it's different and all the characters are really original. Plus she gets a make-over and who doesn't love a good make-over film! It also had some really good funny parts to it and some really sweet bits as well. The only thing is, I think it's just about a woman that gets unbelievably and unrealistically lucky.

The Break Up Artist

A film about a woman whos job is to break up with peoples partner for them. However, she is forced to become a match maker when another break up company puts her out of business.
Okay, this film was pretty bad, but it wasn't completely terrible because there were some good bits to it. There were some really cheesy scenes and every cheesy break up line possible but it was a good film to watch when I didn't have anything else to do and I wanted to watch a film I had never seen before.
I really liked her friends though I thought they were really good!

Dazed and Confused

A film about different teenagers on their last day of school. It's a completely unrealistic school with lots of drugs...
Not much really happens in the film which is why it's so easy to watch. It also has some really funny lines and great, loveable characters. It's just about a bunch of kids trying to have a good time and get drunk basically but some how it's still really enjoyable. I really liked it so you should probably watch it!

A teenage girl breaks up with her boyfriend just as the school year begins but she then starts to get closer to her friend Kyle.
I LOVE THIS FILM OKAY. It's pretty perfect and usually when I see Miley Cyrus all I can think about is Hannah Montana but not with this film. It's a great film (guys might not agree as much...) and it has some funny parts to it as well, mainly parts with Lola's (Miley) Grandma who is amazing. I was really annoyed when I went on IMDB and found the top review for this film to be 1 star (maybe the person reviewing it wasn't a teenage girl?). Anyway, I thought it was really good and it's one of those films I can watch again!

I'm crying.

Kick Ass 2

After Big Daddy was killed, Kick Ass joins a group of super heroes/normal people to fight crime but because of Hit Girl's promise to her dad she doesn't join. While this is happening though Red Mist/Chris/ The MotherFucker is plotting against Kick Ass for killing his dad.
I absolutely loved the first one (even though it was a lot more violent than I thought it would be) so me and my friend were SO excited to go see the second one the day it came out! We had decided that it couldn't be as amazing as the first one but it would still be good. We were wrong though. It was DEFINITELY just as good as the first one because it had the perfect cast, Union J's video, topless Aaron Johnson, and of course crazy super villains. I would probably do anything to be Chloë Moretz, because she is amazing and gets to be with Aaron Johnson and always looks good. Plus Hit Girl is just perfect. Anyway it was a really good film that you should definitely try to go and see some time.

A film about two best friends that are finally invited to a party, they agree to bring drinks to make themselves look better and become popular but everything seems to go wrong.
This film is really funny and like I said before I love Jonah Hill. This film really made me laugh out loud but the best part of the film was the fact that the three friends were believable. They really seemed like good friends which made the film really great.

Excess Baggage

A rich teenage girl decides to fake herself getting kidnapped and gets into the boot of her car, which is then stolen without knowing she is inside.
This film was good and had some funny lines in it but after a while Emily (Alicia Silverstone) got really annoying, because everything was her fault! I loved Alicia Silverstone in Clueless though, and it was great seeing her as a completely different character - except for the whole rich brat bit. But really this film wasn't unbelievably amazing but it wasn't completely terrible! But Alicia's character deserved a slap along with her dad.

A guy gets turned down by all the colleges he applies for, so to get out of telling his parent he simply creates his own. Him and his friends do up a run-down building to trick his parents but it ends up getting out of control when other people find out.
I really liked this film because it was different and funny and I love Jonah Hill. The film made me laugh and was just enjoyable. I loved it because it was different to other films about a teenager growing up, most films now have been done before or are similar in some way, it was really original.

Grown Ups 2

2013
The sequel to Grown Ups, this time it's the last day of school for the kids and the first day of summer. There's old bullies, new bullies, high bus drivers, angry college students, tons of costumes and two crazy police men.
Not going to lie, no where near as good as the first. But I did laugh a lot throughout the film and it was so silly. I was disappointed that  Rob Hilliard (Rob Schneider) wasn't in it though. It was good and funny with lots of silly jokes in it. I think it's definitely worth the trip the the cinema. And Taylor Lautner is in it!

Sydney White

A modern day version of Snow white set in a college and a house full of misfits who end up taking in Sydney White (Amanda Bynes).
So, Amanda Bynes is just amazing (have you seen her twitter) so I was really looking forward to watching this film. It really reminded me of A Cinderella Story, a modern version of Cinderella, because of the whole modern fairytale thing. It was actually really good and funny and the guys who become her room mates are really great and sweet. They're all really likeable as well.

The Winning Season

A man who was a great coach - but failed - is given the chance to coach an all girls basket ball team in school.
This film was really funny and I just absolutely love Emma Roberts, I think she's amazing. I really enjoyed it because it was funny and some parts were really emotional. The girls in the team were perfect and like proper teenage girls so the whole film was really believable. It was really good so you should definitely watch it!
